I'm Lissa (which is pronounced Lisa) and I am an avid traveler. I have crisscrossed my way across the United States so many times that I have visited all but four states. I have road tripped across Europe, sailed around the Caribbean, safaried in Africa, and visited the rainforests of Central America. I've traveled with my children since they were infants, enjoyed girlfriend getaways, taken couples escapes, and wandered solo so many times that I'm constantly being asked, "where are you off to next?"
I am also an experienced travel writer and editor and have spent the last 25 years writing about travel, covering everything from industry news to features and review to destination guides. My work has appeared in print and online in places like Cruise Hive, The Points Guy, Lonely Planet, Far + Wide, Sherman's Travel, Delta Sky, AAA, and across Trip Advisor's media sites such as Family Vacation Critic and Cruise Critic.
With so many asking for my travel advice, I’ve taken my passion and experience into a new direction: travel advising.
