About Me

I am an experienced and award-winning editor and writer with 25 years of experience working in media. What began with a BFA in Writing, Literature and Publishing from Emerson College in Boston led to an exciting editing and writing career first in magazines with up to 650,000 circulations/distributions to growing organic content on a TripAdvisor-branded travel website that reached 1 million UVs per month. My experience moves beyond writing and editing and includes serving as a business leader with digital marketing, production, social media, traffic and revenue skills, and I am considered a media resource and expert regarding travel.

My experience encompasses websites, newsletters, annual reports and publications. I am skilled in speaking with press and serving as a liaison. I am also experienced in tracking, reporting, analytics and budgeting. My technical background includes Google Analytics, Omniture, InDesign, Photoshop, WordPress, CMS, Excel, and PowerPoint, and I am familiar with AMA, AP, Chicago and NY Times style guides
